Ny was founded in 2025 by Richard Glew as a way for him to focus on helping companies and other organizations to be able to take advantage of the many amazing advances in data and AI that truly are possible, but buried in a sea of noise proclaiming AI as the magic cure for every problem. 

Richard has worked in complex technology delivery as an engineer and engineering leader for many years at some of the worlds most respected organizations and has practical hands on experience delivering modern technology into organizations of all shapes and sizes.  Richard has specialist expertise delivering modern data and AI solutions using the best of the new breed tooling and platforms and has been leading large teams at ASX 20 and global companies as well as consulting to Australia's best known brands across multiple industries.

As a small, specialist advisory, Nyx uses freelance specialists to augment the team as required. 

Nyx is an independent advisory. Put simply, this means we are not in the business of selling advice that in turn puts us in a position where we try to on-sell consultants to do implementation work or resell a vendor product. This doesn't mean we have no opinions on implementation partners or products and can recommend ones that we believe are the best fit for a given scenario. It is common for us to be asked who to talk to for implementation work on a given initiative, but beyond assisting with proof-of-value work, we generally do not do longer term implementations.
